#8 I have only used 1 set of batteries. it does'nt get real hot (have run it for about 5-7 min at the most) but it will heat up a bit as it is a very small body but not uncomfortable. I will try and take some pics of it tonight. it has a very smooth broad beam, if you hold it at wasit level it'll illuminate a perfectly diffused walking path about 10 Ft in diameter. I have been using it to walk to my shop in the back yard at night. it is also a good light to use for illuminating a whole wall or large area.

I wanted to find a PR to make it a thrower but I dont have the time nor the donor PR right now.I had to back cut the stock reflecter to get it to have any throw at all. it could be cut some more and focus it a bit tighter but I dont think with that reflector it would be a good thrower.

I had plans on cutting the bezzle and the tail down a hair down and putting a UCL in to make it very short as well.

the LED is Arctic epoxied to the sink and the sink is coated with AS III to help with thermal transfer.

Isn't it against posting rules not to have prices on for sale items?

Post prices so people can buy without haggling.

pICS OF THE LIGHTS

group.jpg

HEAT SINK ON SPYDER, resistor is in the the heat sink but can easily be swaped out. the light would be good for some one to take over where I left off it needs a good reflector and it would be an awsome light.

all the 3 watts are high domes. I tray and snap some beam shots tonight.

I'll compare them to a stealth light, a 3D mag with a UCL and Xenon bulb and a scorpion.

they are polished Aliuminum, they feel really good in hand and look great. They look like 2D cells versions of the same body for the Electrolumens Tri-star.They are made in china but the fit and finish is pretty decent. The switch leaks if submerged but the rest is fairly water resistant.

I like the way they look and they Mod very well.
