AVG is alerting me to: "1-Worm/Netsky.T" as soon as I log on to Outhouse Express. There are a bunch of e-mails from unknown sources. I logged off without opening any mail. Can I safely delete the BS or do I run any risk by just logging on to OE?

Thanks for any help...again.

1-Worm/Netsky.T comes as an attachment with a pif extension. As long as you don't open the attachment, it can't do anything. In Outlook Express click on 'Tools', 'Options', select the 'Security' tab and you can select the option to "do not allow attachments to open".

Additionally turn off the preview window under view>layout. Some virusses contain an iframe exploit that will try to automatically launch the attachment when the message is just viewed. And you can`t delete a message in Outbreak, er, outlook, without first viewing it when the preview window is on. Virus/worm writers know this, hence why they are often so successful.....
