Flashlight Enthusiast
I received my Arc 4+ rev. 2 today. There is a difference among to read about Arc 4, and to have it in your hands.
I have more SF than Arcs, since the former makes more models of the latter, but... the Arc 4 marks the end of an era and the start of a new one. For the time being, there is no fair comparison between the Arc 4 and other high-end Luxeon flashlights.
I refer not only to the care of details; the reflector, the tickness of the lens, the ruggedness of the switch, the selection of the LED, the foolproofness of the software, the thermal/tint control and so on. The whole flashlight is the result of an unique project and affirm itself as such, unique, per say.
At first, you may say the Arc 4 is not for everybody, because of the soft menu, for the first time in a flashlight... but there are more sophisticated menus in wrist watches and cell phones, and people slowly grew accustomed to that. Why not for flashlights?
I am going to order another now.
