How about batteries? Then they would have wished they got a new flashlight to use them in! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Is it for males? If so, highly recommended:

Storus Smart Money Clip

I got one as a groomsman's gift over 5 years ago and have used it ever since. I love it and haven't seen anything else as useful (or similar to it). $19.95 for the black one (which I have).

Cheers,

Dave

Darell's Photon idea sounds good--tout them as keychains, not flashlights.

Or how about multi-tools, like the Tool Lite credit card tool? There's always clocks (travel, specialty etc.). And certainly not unique, but pens are useful (chrome Fisher space pen, etc.).

Great idea flashfan! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

How about the mini pocket radios from CComm? Or the mini-strobes? They don't quite count as flashlights right? Plus they're lots of fun!
