Modifying the Arc AAA....what options?

Are there options for "upgrading" the Arch AAA LED light? I am looking at it to replace my SF E1 as my EDC. This light will become my primary light with a SF E2 as a back-up for the VERY dark and scary situations.

What would you consider the perfect Arc AAA light to be ( and please don't say, "A Fire~Fly!" or something like that. I know that there are other lights that are MUCH brighter, but funds do not always allow for us to buy everything that we really desire, but sometimes, we have to settle for very good, instead of perfect.

The Arc AAA is not a good choice as your primary EDC, it's not bright enough. It is an excellent back-up, but you need more lumens for a primary EDC. An Arc 4+ or LS (maybe modded for more oomph) would be two excellent options.

there have been a few luxeon mods done on here, may want to try a search.

or maybe have the 5mm led replaced with a 8mm led

Sell your Arc AAA on eBay (you might get $50 to $70), then buy a UK 4AA eLed Luxeon for $20 at brightguy.com. MUCH brighter, lasts more than 11 hours with regulated output and you pocket a profit.
