It's called Kroll bcause that's the name on the package when you buy one in a store. It is made as a third party part for the AA MiniMag. I have no idea about the current cap, but haow much current would two AA batteries generate. Remember, it is made to give a AA Minimag push button capability.

It's also the same switch used on the Streamlight Jr. and can be picked up at Streamlight repair places as a replacement part.

I have the mclux 2x123 power pack with a knoll switch
Ive been using it for 5 months now, on a every day basis
and its still in great condition. Plus its waterproof
