can anyone describe the difference in color?
beamshots, perhaps?

i want a very pretty color for my lighthouse project (my wife likes the color of the ultrabright blue LEDs from all electronics, but i dont think they have enough output for this application).

thanks,
Bob

Royal blue is almost uv! I THINK that the blue will be brighter, but the royal blue will make all sorts of stuff flouresce. That would look pretty cool!

Royal blue is 440-450nm (very commonly found at 444nm), and regular blue is 470nm; which can vary from 465-475nm.

Beam comparisons will probably not show a whole lot. Let's see what I have on my website...BRB...
