ARC LSH-S #637,
the board was reworked by Led_ASAP, it draws around 1.4A from the 3V battery(around 670mAh to the lux)the Mcflood was brushed to smooth out the beam.
never carried, lens protector still on.

just wanted to add more info on the board, it's a stock board with a bigger inductor, an added cap(+ out), and a new IC chip.

well, it is very much around. the only "problem" is, I've gone and put a SO17XA reflector in place of the Mcflood.
I just cant believe the output on this thing, it's brighter(and whiter) then my ARC4+...
it's going to be hard to let this one go now...

hi, i am interested in what the runtime is for this Arc LS TVOJ mod, and what batteries you use. i had a mod done to an LS a while ago but i think it was the usual mod to 667mA, this one by LEDASAP is different.
you said it is whiter than your Arc4+, i thought these TVOJs were kinda warm in color. anyways thanks in advance /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

FYI-TVOK that I have is just a "hair" on the warm side. It makes a cool white fluorescent output look yellow by comparison.

-Kinda difficult to go very far wrong with a 3W. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

the day,
i have no idea what the runtime is, i just haven't got around to that and it would be hard to tell with just a DMM.
this mod is different then most cause the board was redone...i had originally fried the IC, once LED_ASAP had it for repair, it only made sense to let him boost it up to the max...

BTW, i just checked and this light will run on 1AA (with the 1AA pack).
