1 For what purpose(s) do I want a light?

2 Based on my research, what light best fulfills that purpose?

3 Can I afford it, and if not, what affordable light comes closest to the ideal one?

4 Where can I get the best price (with return ability) from a reliable dealer?

5 Do I really need this light? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crackup.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crackup.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crackup.gif

1. Do I have a purpose for this light? (answer does not really matter)
2. Do I already have one of these? (usually NO)
3. How can I get one and not have the wife find out about it? (hide a few bananas each week until I have enough)
4. Where am I going to store this light? (anywhere - except if the wife or kids find it, "I have had that for a long time and LEAVE MY TOYS ALONE!!!"
5. Oh crap, now I gotta order batteries to feed it!! How do I hide battery orders coming in? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/faint.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/whoopin.gif

The five REAL questions are:
1. Arc, SureFire, or a custom? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sssh.gif
2. Does anyone have ANYTHING brighter? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
3. Can I REALLY afford it? (that one doesnt matter) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/broke.gif
4. WILL it turn heads away? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/xyxgun.gif
5. WILL I be able to use the excuse "but thats the olllllld one" when a new one comes out? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

7. Being really honest, is there a $6 flashlight that will perform just as well for how I will actually use this light in real life?
