Longbow Micra head removal

I tried to use some Channellocks and a piece of scrap leather to keep from marring the finish and the leather just slipped on the head. Any pointers for removing the head? Curiosity is killing this cat.

I used a strap wrench on the head and a channellock on the body (with cloth) to turn it loose.

I have a couple of those grippy rubber pads in my kitchen that you use to assist opening screw cap jars. With one on the head and another on the body, opening up the Micra is extremely easy and rather effortless /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
