These cells probably use thionyl chloride electrolyte. I was pretty interested in them for a while but found that the electrolyte is so toxic that even the military is asking for research proposals to find some substitute. I think I'd want to use them only for very-long-service (emergency/infrequent use or very low current drain) devices that need to go for years and years without a battery change. Otherwise I'd stick with more conventional types of cells.
