The only problem is, the replacement is $300!

I have to charge a 12V/7ah Lead Acid Battery and the specs on the charger read

Input 100V-250V- 50-60Hz 1.2A
Output 14.5V 2.5A

Can I just find a generic battery charger that will output the same amount? Any ideas where I can find one?

Thanks in advance

I'm not completely sure what the application is, but...
Stores like Walmart or any auto parts store will have "battery maintainers". You probably don't want the little 500 mah wall wart looking things, because I don't think they are usually automatic or regulated. You want the 1- 1.5 amp versions that usually have charging/charged indicators. These will cycle as needed.
I think they run between $20-30 dollars.
