I just bought a first production run Arc LS (used) that uses 2 AA batteries. It has a twist switch, not a clickie. I am having trouble getting the light to come on when I turn it and it kind of flickers sometimes when it is on. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Would a 2 AA clickie work better with this light as far as making a better connection? Any input would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to return the light. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mecry.gif

The problem is because of the nub on the battery holders end. Or your battery length is too short.

The problem with the first LS's was the design of the battery holder. It is applying pressure from the nub and it puts a dent onto the batterys - end.

The clickie AA tube comes with the kroll switch as the 123 battery pack, it works much better and you have the "momentary on" feature also.
