Interesting site. The crusades and the account written by one that wrote as if he actually enjoyed wading through blood up to his ankles, after being told by Pope Urban II that God would forgive them of any sins they committed while engaged in their activity. Imagine... all that less than 1000 years ago; little more than 10 measly generations has past. Not much changes.

not to be nit-pickey, but I think a generation is concidered about 18-20 years. This has the effect of making your statement even more profound:
..."more than 50 generations have past. Not much changes."
It's not so nit-picky, Alpha. My intent was to show the number of lifetimes (the number of years it takes for a generation to pass on). I used the term 'generations', which doesn't do the trick, and causes confusion. Thank you. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif
