Snake Eyes - Concept light to incorporate multiple Lux III's into small form factor. The main objective was to create a super-bright light with extra flood for a wide area lighing beam pattern - application -- mountain biking.

Specs -

LED - 2 X Lux III
Current limiting resistor 1 Ohm / 2 Watt
Total Current Draw 1800 mA

The bezel cannot be considered part of the entry as it was machined on a freinds mill - the module itself was completely created by hand tools.

Nice work! That is a lot of light. Are you going to market that thing? Looks like a very well thought out design, and obviously it works incredibly well. Just my thoughts.

Thanks for the good words.

This is more of a concept rather than a marketable product. Certainly, the heat issue is a concern (A Lot of power in a small package). Since I will use it while biking, it will have constant air flow. But as a stationary flashlight, you run the risk of excessive heat.
