I have been looking at these two lights and see there is a size difference and it looks like different optics. The specs look pretty much the same. Are there other big differences that I am not catching? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif

The shape of the beam. The L5 is the more narrow beamed of the two.
The L4/KL4 bezel is about the same diameter as the body of the L5. In other words the largest diameter part of the L4 is about the same diameter as the smallest diameter part of the L5.
The L4 is a flood light.
The L5 has a nice hotspot with nice spill light.
I carry lights of either size in a holster, but the L4 is much more pocketable.

Why hasn't anybody caught mbt25's misconception about the L4 and L5 having optics and not reflectors? They have reflectors......
