I'm also curious what you didn't like about them. The "O" sinks seemed like a good idea, nothing radically changed.

Re: FS: yaesumofo\'s \"D\" size O-sinks

I've recieved a bunch of PMs asking me why I am selling them and what I don't like about them so I'm posting the reason here.

Please don't get me wrong. I like the heatsinks and the price is awsome. The only reason I am selling these is because I cannot position the emitter to hide the power leads as I like to build mine. Anyone who has one of my Mag mods knows exactly what I'm taking about. For those that haven't seen, there's a pic below.

yaesumofo came up with a great idea making the self centering thing and did a good job getting these copies made. I don't have a problem with centering the emitter so it doesn't bother me. So what if I'm a Hotlips man? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinser2.gif

After all I have decided to keep one of them though.

(Bump, still available)

Re: FS: Yaesumofo \"D\" size O-sinks

I can explain that.
The "O" in the O-Sink Not only precisely centers the emitter but also locks the emitter angle relationship to the wire holes. That angle is the same on all O-sinks.
With the Hotlips you are free to adjust the angle of the emitter leads to the wire-holes. This is great but that same freedom to adjust that angle is what makes it so difficult to exactly center the emitter on the heat sink.(at least for me).

I guess the solution to centering/wire hiding would
be to change the oval "O" to a circular "O". I.E
a circle big enough for the emitter to fit in but now
it would be able to rotate so you could place the leads
where you want releative to the wires.
