i use this site a lot the guy is well known.some say he is paranoid that he goes for to secure of a pc but i havnet been hacked or had a virus.and my pc is on 24/7 i choose scan all ports and i go for stealth http://www.grc.com/ notice while scaning ya firewaLL will alert cause he is scaning ya ports use it at ya own risk. use google first if ya want more info

steve rubs some people the wrong way but he keeps my pc safe.i also use stuff from broand reports

Gibson P/O,ed Microsoft and some others with his raw evaluations. That said his productivity does not seem to pace his advertising.

Given all else, the Shields Up link is rather useful and informative.
