I'm sure you expert CPFers would know. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif I've done some research but haven't found a definitive answer.

Nope. The one in PK's right hand (i.e. on the left side in the picture) is the HID "Beast". Several were made and one of them ended up getting sold to someone through the Strategos forum. The selling price was undisclosed but apparently it was enough to buy a rather nice car with. Someone else here can probably refresh the details.

The 10X has higher output then the M6 in a flashlight body.
Well what about the NightHunter II. That has a flashlight body.

BTW, the Beasts proto-types in the photos above are years out of date.
This was a Beast in Feb2004:

I am just curious Al, what sort of batteries does the Beast run on? And how many?

There is allso a rechargable version, wich is called Hellfire if i remember correctly.
Btw made a little mistake, the beast runs for about 80 mines according to a picture i'm watching right now.

There were rechargeable versions in proto-type called the HellFire. I have only seen Beasts powered by SF123As in the last year or so.

SF123As are cheap at $1.25 each.

I'm not sure what picture you're watching StEaLtH - Care to share with us?
The Beasts get very hot. I would guess you could fry an egg on the lens...

I see the Feb 2004 pic shows a Beast with the crenellated bezel.. to allow you to see that you left the light on, I suppose before it burns a hole through the table and falls on the ground /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
