Anybody already has both of these long-reflector 5-watters? Any chance of beamshot / hotspot comparison, overall throw, as well as overall output?

The heads looks similar...

Isn't the main difference that the L7 has the built-in NiMH rechargable, while the L6 is a good outdoors light, at least according to some of the reviews I've seen on here? Better throw than the L5, though a bit more expensive and thus the extra value being in doubt?

If I am following,L7 is a rechargeable L5 then I am more than happy to stick with the L6 running 150s Pila's I have the L5 and I like it just fine but it is not the L6 by any means IMHO. I run my L6 mostly on the M4 body with 2 168s Pilas works great the L5 runs on 1 168s Pilas the L6 body runs on 2 150s with the M4 head and a N2 lamp.

So L5 would have lesser throw versus a PR-mod Lux3 DB917?
...and more so with a LuxV PR?

Anyone has both set-up?

So where could we place the L6 in terms of throw -- can it be compared with a Mag2C-3x123-LuxV mod?
