Regular Infinity AA and lithium cells?

Could someone please refresh my memory? Will anything bad happen if I try running my red regular Infinity AA tasklight on a lithium cell? I seem to recall reading/hearing about some problem with doing that. I know I run my Infinity Ultra on lithiums without difficulty.

I run most of my Infinity lights on lithium AA cells. Haven't had a problem. In fact, the lithium batteries give a nice little boost to the output of the regular Infinity.
