Hello!
here is my submission to the H/M Lights Comp Class 4.

PRESENTING

THE CYBERLUXEON!!!!!!

Dsc00568.sized.jpg

a little circuit i built to test luxeons, and decided that since i had hard wiredthe luxeon in, and modified the PVC pipe that is currently hosting the Lux to allow it to be pinned down on the board that i could enter it. besides, it is a HOMEMADE/modified light comp, here you go.

Re: Class 4: CyberLux Portable Lux Testbed/Area Li

im not quite sure - something like the high 200s. i tried to take a reading of LED current, but the circuit wont let me. i took a reading of the consumption of the actual circuit (along the - input) and it came out at 280ma. it does actually boost the vin to about 3.4 volts, but yeah. i can do more measurements. i have a freqency counter, so im about to go and measure the oscillating frequency. i dont think my coil is exactly the right size, but it isnt overdriving the led, so...

Re: Class 4: CyberLux Portable Lux Testbed/Area Li

oh, and the main reason for momentary only right now is that i ran out of Arctic Alumina, and therefore the LS has no sink. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif.
