Hello,
i have a luxeon 1w i got that was bought with no specified bin, and i think it might be a Q2LW or a MW1C. i think MW1C is more likely, but yeah. MW1C is the last 4 diugits of the serial number thingy, and Q2LW is in the top left corner of the writing on it.

You are lucky to have Q2LW !

Q2LW is old BIN coding ( 2002 May ), which stands for ;

Q : Flux : 30.6-39.8 lumen ( good flux as an 1 watter ! )
2 : CCT : 5000-5500k
L : Vf BIN : 3.75-3.99V
W : White

MW1C is part number, stands for
M : Level 2 : Emitter on the metal core PCB
W : White
1 : 1-up
C : Star Hexa Batwing on MCPCB

Q or R rank is a rather good flux-bin.

Goodluck.

Today, I got 100 pcs of 1 watt emitter has PW01-PW0H. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/clap.gif
