I know I've seen some remote power endcaps, but I can't remember where and I can't find reference to them. Specifically I'm considering a Brinkman Legend LX remote powered (and switched) by D cell lithium batteries. I figured that a screw in endcap, dummy battery in the body, would work and still leave the flashlight usable as a stock flashlight when not being used with the remote power. In fact I'm thinking about mounting two of the Legend LX with remote power and a switch that allows me to turn one or both on as needed. Of course...I need to find out if this light can burn for 8 hours straight with out self destructing. I may incorporate the mounting bracket as some sort of heat sink. Anyway...that's more than I meant to say. Can anyone help me with information on the remote power endcaps? If not...I guess I'll figure out how to make them myself.
