Just for kicks I replaced the bulb in the Dorcy Frostbrite 4AA with the LedCorp LED 3cell not the pro series. The LED was originally meant for my Mag 3D. I am reasonably satisfied with the results. It is as bright as the other single LED lights that I have with a very smooth beam. (Pelican L1, Brinkmann Long Life
Should I expect the LED to go up in smoke? What kind of battery life would one expect? Would the 4cell LED be as bright with longer run time. I am most determidly oever my head on the technical aspects.
