Any one who can help me and my friend.
He dives a lot for making close-up photo shot of fish.
He asks a 6pcs module of LS 5 watter, which can throw a pure-white higher than 6,000K.

Any illustration of these similiar gadget, please advise. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif

What about a HID dive light, like the UK light cannon?
(just google, plenty of reviews/stores that sell it).

He is using 30W HID now
and stalking me to get an 5watt Luxeon lamp as bright as HID.

I believe HIDs are still much more efficient than LEDs, if more fragile.

Rather he sticks to a color temperature and he puts HID has too warm color temperature. I assume that the blue of undersea may absorb the blue tint from Luxeon. That I have occasionally experienced in a pub where the dome light is blue, I witnessed my W0 color bin ranked Luxeon flashlight seemed very YELLOW.

Alcohl does not affect a sense for color identification, as far as I know.

Warren,

Are you sure about that? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin07.gif

Some specific drugs such as caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, and cocaine can also alter the genetic makeup of a child. These drugs alter the sensitivity to specific lengths of light, often causing color deficiencies.

Warren,

I am no expert but I think that the lack of red in LED's will work against them UW where red is the first color to go. Some of the HID lights that use the Philips 35W lamp can probably be fittted out with a higher color temp lamp. I think this would be a better solution but I am guessing here.

Re: HELP for ADVISING on SkinScover Photographer

Wow, I would've thought that HID would have a higher colour temperature than Luxeons, even the 5W variety. Perhaps what he needs is not just white 5W, but a couple of UV ones as well. I'm told this will really make the fish and coral colours more vivid. Perhaps 50W of power, 6 white, 4 UV?

If he is already using 30W HID, 30W of Luxeons would probably seem too dim. Remember that HID, especially at higher wattages, are far more efficient at converting power to light than LEDs.

Maybe before he spends the big bucks, checking for a higher colour temperature HID bulb to replace the one he has might be a good idea.

Thanks.
Indeed he would come back and puts...

I am thinking to use six of 5 watter in WX0T rank using two of CC5W 700mA from Georges80.

Now, it is getting more interesting for me than my pal.

And their team will make small volume production if my concept works !

Aqualung may resist on 40 minutes UW, I have a chance to overcome 35W HID in efficiency.
