SF L1 -GreeN and -ReD

Hi,
I just got an Red SureFire L1. when compared with the beam of a Green L1, I find the red much more brighter, even at low setting. I was hoping to use the Red L1 as my night light (as discussed in this forum), but I find the Green to produce a milder output that is much more pleasing for the night or sleepy eyes. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sleepy.gif

Further, the red beam seemed to be glowing, making my head grow dizzy. Do anyone has a problem like this? I'm not affected if I use the green or white LEDs.

My red Inova Microlight initially made me dizzy so I thought it was a sick color but later it should get better; though the L1 is much brighter. I don't have any experience with SF lights though.
