What type of knot is it that is used on keychains and lights that looks like a noose tie, but ends in two strings instead of a loop? I hope that describes it well enough but I have seen several on flashlights and the such, and wanted to learn it but couldn't find it for the life of me. Thanks. What other's do you guys use often that are worthy of learning?

I think the knot you are talking about is a hangman's noose with the light or knife passing through the noose. Here is a link to the Chris Reeve Knive website detailing the knot - Reeve Coil Knot
It takes a few tries to get the length right. Good luck!

Sounds like a clark's head.
<ul type="square">[*]Take a length of string/rope/etc
[*]fold it in half
[*]pull the loop through an eye or over a bar
[*]pull the two loose ends through the loop
[/list]
