I've read comments about using a PR-T with a 5W BadBoy converter but was unable to find the thread, maybe it was off topic within a thread.

I know that the PR's fins tend to help dissipate heat but I just wondered if anyone that has PR-T BB care to comment? I had a PR 5W BB750 die and never heard from the modder yet what they found if anything. I have a McGizmo built PR 5W BB750 right now and it does get pretty warm fast but would a PR-T take the heat too?

I guess that a McE2S would be a good option too.

I have both PR and PR-T with 5W/BB750s.

In theory the PR should take a little longer to heat up, but I can't tell any difference in use. They both get warm if you run them long enough.

Thanks! I wasn't getting any hits and was wondering if it was a stupid question or what? What me ask a dumb question? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
