there are lots of rechargable Luxeon flashlights...Like the L4....

Many 123 powered Lux lights can be made into rechargables by adding Pila batteries.

I'd like to add the new Inova T4 to that list - though I have absolutely no idea if it's using an overdriven 3W or an underdriven 5W.

Hopefully, we'll see more about its performance soon - the only thing that worries me is its length (8" and a bit) and the fact that the charge time is longer than the runtime. Makes me wonder... and again, the wattage of the Luxeon Star is also in question.

Re: Luxeon Rechargeable Flashlight ???

I added PILA cells to a Nuwaii 5w Luxion, it works great.

I have the Gander Mountain 1w rechargable which is the same as the ALX-1213N. Got it on sale for $32. It's a nice white color with a decent beam and run time.

Re: Luxeon Rechargeable Flashlight ???

madecov said he added Pila cells to a Nuwai 5W Luxion -
which Nuwai was this?

I tried fitting 2 Pila 150s cells in to both
a Nuwai-053L and Nuwai-253L and the 2 150s's were
too long. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jpshakehead.gif
