Finally Pushing Super Bright Luxeon w/ 2 AA 3.6\'s
:
Hi i finally got a Luxeon 1 WATT batwing going
at FULL capacity that is it'd getting hot tho not very
just enough to burn /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif om 2 AA SAFS 3.6 volt lithiums
right now it's been running with these 2 batteries
(using built in leads on both ends to tie them together to the LED) for 37 hours and they are beautifully bright
i just ordered a bunch of these batteries but they are a bit expensive for these experiments. i also made a sunrise sunset switch.. i figure 10 hours at night..good for nearly a week of Luxeon lighting front porch in relative good bath..
no expert here but it looks to the idea just as bright as my 12volt micropuck 1 watter on the porch and surrounding area , even lighting up the trees around , anyway not bad for straight out from battery no resisters just a primitive and LONG
:
runtime!
