This lamp is getting around all over the place as well. It is the same as the headlamp that Allen has spoken about - same Chinese manufacturer and same function.

I have seen it and used it - the incandescent is very week, but the design is reasonable.

It's actually a decent idea, but the incandescent lamp is not very bright at all. I assumed I could put in a 3AA Xenon bipin lamp, but the Brinkman ones I have won't work with it. Damn. They are reasonably well made, and the LED output is good; same as any other Nichia LED, but they should have gone with a better incandescent lamp, and probably AA batteries to power it. I wasted my money on it.
