ok im at my dads still so i aint sure when i can reply but i got a toshiba satellitew 2540 cds ..its has a amd 333 cpu and only 32 megs a memeory i need more cause i run win 2k pro can some one tell me what memory it needs?what kind i mean, also what is the laptop worth

Raggie, I checked Crucial and they say there is nothing available for that model.

crud. it has a space for ram.but i cant find any either its edo ram but smaller.i like the laptop it is slow only 333 mhz but it works ok,has usb and etc etc cd rom and floppy and irfrered

OK, I dug a little deeper and came up with THIS PAGE The original 32 Meg module seems to be non-removeable, but that's OK since there's an extra slot. It takes a 144 pin SDRAM SO-Dimm module which can still be found on the link above.

cool thank you sir im useing it now with 32 megs but ya can tell it is cacheing to hardrive a lot
