anyone know any good binocular review/forum web pages? I am looking for a good pair in the $150 range, if you want to make a suggestion that would be great. I have a pair of bushnell trophy bin's , but i am not happy with the sharpness of them compared to others i have seen.
thanks alot

I have Orion Ultraview 10x50 and like them very much due to the large eye relief (22mm) and wide field of view (6.5 degrees). I got them from www.telescope.com. Price: $169 I have no connection with them, just very pleased with the product.

You might try www.sierratradingpost.com . This is a store that sells closeouts and "last years" models. They have Bausch & Lomb, Pentax, Steiner, and Ziess. I've heard that Steiner are top-drawer, but have never seen, much less looked at a pair. Sierra's prices for the Steiner compacts start at around $89.95 (retail of $160), and their 10x50s go to $650 (retail of $1000).
