Look here /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif These were originally bare alluminum but were anodized by JS Burly's.
Otherwise you may find them on BST once in a while. They seem to be quite popular.

What is the diff between
1. Single 123 Cell power pack for the Arc-LS at $4.95
and
2. TSP-123 Pack for Arc-LS series at $29.95

Both are tail caps for the Arc LS that hold 1 x 123 cell right?
But why is there such a big diffin price?

Can anyone advice me?

123 TSP are hard anodized and will match your Arc LS. It uses a kroll clicky. VS the 123 twisty, which is unanodized aluminum.

The price difference is because twisty are discontinued W/unfinished aluminum. VS TSP are HA, current stock.

Arc discontinued twisty, due to a veriety of reasons. If you over tighten, there is risk of damaging the electronics. the twisty is the prefered form, due it being more compact.

Both can be modified to accept a two stage switch.

I prefer twisties, but that a personal preferance call. Some prefer TSP.

By two-stage, do you mean two levels of output? If so, can anyone point me toward information on how to do that?

I'm sure this has been talked about, but I'm a newbie and I couldn't find it with a search.

There is several long threads with info about the hi/low mod for for kroll clicky.

to mod for twisty, you need to take the info from several firefly threads. you can purchase the board from dat2zip.

The raised contact hump on the bothem of 123 twisty needs to milled off. then drill hole, tap and screw in new board from wayne. the main difference is firefly already came with an off set tapped hole.

can anyone help with the links?
