need advice for automotive lights

what led's would you experts here recomend to use on a motorcycle 12v line...i am going ot be using theese for turn signals so...the brighter the better...also is linking 4 or so together a prob? thanks for this great forum

Are you looking to custom make a light or making just a socket type replacement?

Motorcycle Turn Signal LED Conversion

I'm going to bring this old thread back for a bit. Could someone give me a resistor value to use with 4 led's wired in series for a 12v system. These will be for motorcycle turn signals.

Found my answer:

Based on this info I'm going with 4 led's in series with a 100 ohm, 1/8w resistor.

The led's are:

5mm
25mA forward current
2.4v max

Using the resistance calculator in the thread I came up with the above value.
