Last performance by Orbital, electronica duo, is being broadcast on BBC R1 tonight.

Almost torch/flashlight related because they are famous for wearing torch glasses on stage.

They had AAA mini-mags when they played their set at Glastonbury this year, but I have seen commercial Orbital-specs for sale in some DIY places as a kind of hands-free headlamp affair. And I always thought the idea behind them was to let the crowd see there really were two guys there behind the vast piles of gear they have on stage, but that`s just a guess. Given their usual extravagent light shows, they can`t be needed for seeing which buttons to push.....

Think they are in fact Uni Lite head torches and the idea came from the film Brazil, remember Archie Tuttle heating engineer....
