Looking for boom boxes that have a audio input.
Almost everyone has portable players of some type, most work very vell with head phones. There are times when I would like to listen to them without the head phones using a boom box.

Anyone know of boom boxes that have an audio input, I found a few. It seems like such a simple thing should be standard on all but the cheaper ones.

This feature seemed to be fairly common on early 1980s ghetto blasters, especially the larger ones like the JVC RC-M70, JVC RC-656, JVC RC-M80, Panasonic RX-5090, Sears SR-2100, Aiwa CS-600 (all are machines I now own, so I know they have line-I/O jacks), etc.

I honestly don't know what models produced today have line-in receptacles.

The only ones I could find with audio input were from:
Dewalt
Milwaukee
Bosch
Only the Bosch had a cd player the rest are only radio. All three require you to buy a special rechargeable battery to use them as a portable.

My Sony CFD-G50 has an aux input. Surprisingly good sound, too, if you can get past the funky exterior.
