SL Task Light Luxeon vs. SL Jr.

How do these two compare in brightness and performance? Was thinking of picking up the TT but think I'd like theLuxeon better, especially if it comes close to my Jr.'s performance.

I have a Streamlight Tasklight Luxeon 3AA /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif and am very happy with it.
I think the main difference between the SL TL Luxeon and the Streamlght Jr.
is the size and number of batteries. Both use the Luxeon as a light source.
The SL TL uses three AA batteries and the SL Jr. uses 2 AA's. The Jr. is regulated
and has a run time of about 1 1/2 hrs. were the SL TL is not and has a run time
of about 28 hrs. with a diminishing output. The SL TL is a little longer with
3 batteries in line, however I do not have a problem with the length, I like
the longer run time. As for the light output, I find the SL TL throws a nice white
bright beam, however, I don't have the SL Jr. and can't comment on its beam.

I use the SL TL Luxeon with NiMH batteries at work and it performs very well.
I guess it depends on your needs.
