Funnily enough the 48 strong (I think) Iraqi Olympic team was airlifted out of Baghdad by an Aussie C-130, that's ONLY about 44 more competitors than what they had at the Sydney Olympics. Here's hoping that in 4 years time at the next Olympics Iraq's current troubles will be left behind, and the team size will increase again!

It is amazing how well they are doing. Then again, the last time they were tortured by Uday if they did not perform well. I guess not worrying about getting tortured or killed after the games allows them to concentrate better. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
