My dorcy 3led AA head turns :( Is it bad?

I can screw it down all the way to tighten it, but I was wondering if it is supposed to turn. Seems to me like the wires could get broken because of the twisting. This is the head with the leds not the tail with the switch.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif I just tightened it as much as possible so it wouldn't come loose. What do you guys think?

It's normal. The connection between the body and the head is via a spring contact, so turning does not twist any wires. Many modders are happy the head comes off as they have replaced the innards with various upgrades, usually luxeons (see here ).

I have swapped the heads from the 1AA and 2AA with no apparent problems. Yes, being able to turn them is no trouble at all!
