What is the point of using 2x123? I thought 1W Luxeons could be powered by 1 CR123 battery. Is it for longer life?

Take a close look at the background in the picture. It's been hacked by photo-editing software. I wonder why?

The seller has been with eBay less than six weeks - the claims are pretty bold - an obvious attempt to "coat-tail" on the sureFire name... I don't think I am in any hurry to buy...
