newbie intro

Hi all,

Been lurking for a while and finally decided to register, probably not as much of a flashlight-aholic as others, but I appreciate a good light.

Hello and welcome to these halls! "...not as much of a flashlight-aholic..." - yep, that's how it starts! Next thing you'll be lookin' at Downboys, R2Hs, McLuxes, Lumileds bin codes, boost/buck circuits, and on and on and on...it's a techno-hobby that can be "reasonable" on your wallet ---> or not!

Seriously, there's some fine torches available at some reasonable prices that will give you a reliable, long running, bright beam when you need one!
