Will LED in 110v switch light up with 12v

I'm looking for an "indicator on" or lighted rocker power switch that has to go in a certain sized hole. The input voltage can be anywhere from 6v to 24v. The only switch I can find is a switch rated at 115VAC, 15A.

The question is will the LED in the switch light up when the power source is 12VDC.

Nope.
You will need to put in a different series resistor to that led.

and make sure it is not a neon in the 115 volt switch

I already checked on that because that's what my predecessor had specified, and I knew that wouldn't work. Thanks for mentioning it though. Like I said, my predecessor missed it.
