Daylight Correction Filter? (GE REVEAL bulbs)

How come nobody uses the blue daylight correction filter that GE uses for their Reveal lightbulbs? There's also this daylight correction gel for Photographic lamps. When I shined my SF G2 through it, things got dimmer, but whiter.

If you need "white" light, then my suggestion is that you go to LED instead of using a colour correction filter.. Adding anything in front of an incan simply increases the heat in the bezel, so unless you have a pyrex lens, you'll sooner or later have to deal with overheating on your lexan lens.. Another reason is that it's probably not worth the cost either...
