i havent seen a post like this lately, so what is your edc? I have started carrying a sf tt 2l and an sf e2e. Whatcha got in your pocket??

I EDC an Arc LSH. The LSH is on me all the time, even if its noon and a bright sunny day. I like belt carry, and its always on my belt in the holster. The LSH is so small, it is barely noticable (smaller than most tiny cellphones), yet about 5 times as much light output as the Arc AAA, and much whiter and smoother light.

If its dark outside when I go out, I usually also carry a Pelican M6 LED (primary duty light) and an Arc AAA (tertiary backup).

I'm also known to carry an Arc-4+ in some situations.

I am currently sold on the Cabela's Trailhiker Pants. They are more durable than the 5.11 Tacticals, very similar in design, and much less expensive. My wife has cut some down just below the pockets to make shorts from them also Link
I really like these pants much more than the 5.11's.

At this moment, as I sit here, my trusty Sonic rests in my pocket. This seems to be my most regularly used knocking about the house in the pocket light. During the day at work and around the town I carry my Arc AAA.

Were I not sitting here in my skivvies taking life VERY easy, I would have an ARC AAA in my left front pocket (Jeans 99% of the time).

On my belt would likely be a 2L Twin Task (modded to use a Kroll switch - NEAT!). Though it COULD be a minim*g with Madmax, G2, Stinger (rather on the large size for my belt), MilkBone (2AA 1W built on Rayovac Industrial 2AA), Dorcy 2AA 4LED or something else.

The 2L is far and away the most usefull of them all, though not the brightest.

Since I don't have jeans on, don't think I'm helpless! Near to hand are: Garrity 2AA, Lumilte 2AA with 3xCR2 and KPR112, 3D M*g with 4 MimH C cells and Acrylite lense, SL 3C XP Xenon/LED, 4AA Rayovac with 3cell bulb and Satin Taped lense and Rayovac 3D Indutrial with M*g Xenon bulb and Satin Tape.

I pocket carry a C2+P60 nowadays.. very nice. It fits surprisingly well into jeans pockets, and it has a lanyard looped through my belt just to make sure I don't lose it by accident.

Carry a custom light on my key-ring.

The head is a Luxeon LED that was made to fit on and ARC AAA.

The body is a "N" cell body disigned to fit on an ARC AAA.



...what I have is a light made up of parts designed to modify an ARC AAA...just no ARC AAA parts left now!

PlayboyJoeSchmoe and I may approach our Libertarian politics from opposite directions but we see the same light where it counts. We both EDC an Arc AAA in the same pocket and have a Dorcy 2AA/4LED, G2, MM Mod, and a TwinTask - he a TT-2 and me a TT-1. I agree with PBJS about the usefulness of the TT-2 - I will have to get one to celebrate my one year CPF anniversary next month. We even put Scotch Satin tape on the lenses of our lights with less than perfect beams.

We CPFers are probably more alike than different.
