Was modding my old 2D maglite to 4AA today and couldnt figger out how to get the switch out and found this info on the maglite web page I'd share with you all, Lots of nice diagrams, etc.

My mod is pretty simple, 2 of these 2AA battery holders soldered into it. Brings new life to an old light I had boxed away in the basement.
