What are the differences between the old KL1 and the new KL1?

IIRC the new KL1s have a Lux III or High Dome in it, and the design looks like the KL4 bezel now.

I called Tactical Warehouse today. They don't expect it any time soon.

The last change to the KL1 was to put 1W High Dome Luxeons in.
The bezel style remained the same.
There are no KL1's with LuxeonIII's in them unless they have been modified.

I called SF in the last week or so and the lady told me they had new KL1's with green LED's in stock.

Chop is always pushing the envelope!!! He wants the newly designed bezel badly enough to do an emitter swap, even before it gets warm in his hands after he takes it out of the box! What a guy....

By the way, have you modded any of the old First Run ARC LS's by putting in a nice new, white Luxeon. Mine's greenish and I'd like to have a nicer brighter LED in it.

I think I've done a couple of 'em. I say "I think" because I can't remember. I've done a lot of mods over the last year or so that I've been on CPF. You might also want to contact CM. He's done tons of Arcs. Get back to me if he isn't interested.
