SF 9N Malfunction?

I have an old 9N that has been reliable right up to the point where I replaced the battery with the B90. Now she may or may not light up when you hit the switch, hit her a few times usually gets her working.

Anyone else have this happen? Is there a common cause or fix?

I think I figure it out, pulled the head and bent the contact very slightly out. May have been slight dimension change from the original or impact.

Yup...I was going to say that slamming the stick into the haed assembly probably bent the contact.
