What are you talking about? The Arc AA compared to the CMG/Gerber Infinity series? The Arc is very slightly smaller. The difference is more noticable to some people than others. There are lots of pics on CPF of both lights side by side. The light has an AA cell inside, so there's not a whole lot you can do to make it much smaller.

what is a short X5T exactly?
i have only a standard X5T and that is way bigger than an ArcAA:

I have never seen a cmg infinity, so i can´t comment that.

To the best of my knowledge, that old CMG Infinity is the same size as Gerber`s current versions including the Ultra.

You're probably thinking of the Reactor then. That was a plastic 2AA light with a direct drive Luxeon. It was one of the earliest low cost Luxeon lights but is awful by today's standards. If you wanted an Arc AA, I think the Infinity Ultra is a reasonable substitute for most purposes.

No, it was run on a single AA and used a 5mm LED and was aluminum. priced at $21 at a local store.
